Okay: first of all, thanx for viewing. secondly: here's a quick poll. does anyone think that it is possible for there to be a nordic ski race while it is raining? (p.s: if anyone was at the Sugarloaf USA nordic touring center in Carabasset valley, maine yesterday at about 1:30 PM local time, you already know, and probably saw me race.) for those of you who said no, then prepare to be amazed. yesterday i was competing in a race, and i was number 143. as my start time came around, something very odd happened. drops of water began falling. NOOOOOO!!! it continued to rain throughout the 20 or so minutes it took me to complete the course. then after the race, i slipped on some ice and soaked my speedsuit in a puddle. so, how was your saturday? comments welcome.
