Description
This image is inspired by a fantasy anthology called Thieve's World, edited by Robert Lynn Asprin and Lynn Abbey. Jubal is an ex gladiator who has won his freedom from the Rankan Empire and is looking for a fresh start in life. He's decided to settle in here in Sanctuary, the seediest town in the empire. He's about to embark on a career in the black market and become Sanctuary's crime lord. The hawk is symbolic of his future network of mercenaries, known as hawkmasks. Rendered in Vue, lots of stuff here from DAZ. I also want to give credit to rodluc for the wonderful market square objects in the foreground. Thanks for taking a look.

Very nice detailed composition.

Lots of things to see in this. I like the horse and rider off to the side instead of centered.
