(I had this posted in my KnightFriends gallery which I have closed. I'll repost some of those images here over the next week or so.) In the fields by the ruins of Whitby Abby, a knight professes his deep and undying love to the one who's soul has entwined itself into the fabric of his being. "I pledge to you, that I will Love you completely and remain ever faithful to you for as long as I shall live." Words would not come, but her eyes and the tears they filled with told him all his heart longed to know. When he returns from this terrible duty, she will be waiting for him.

This was the first of my works that I consider a combination of my work and the work of my friends. The photo is was taken by my dear friend Digs (aka rainbows) and simply begged for a scene such as this. The Abby is a truly magnificent sight and very inspiring. Thank you Digs for your wonderful gifts of imagery.

Poser 5 on a Mac; Some postwork in Photoshop to blend grass, and work on shadows and a few minor touch-ups. I did a little color enhancement work on the background photo as well to bring out the sky and adjust the overall lighting.
