Description

Okay first off please be kind. This is my first attempt at both doing a poser 6 figure, and importing it for use in C5. Here we see Princess Marelle taking a long look at her homeworld just hours before her next mission. In the background you can see her sleek new Raptor II class multi-purpose fighter. The ship is the newest design in the Raptor series. It is more powerful, faster, more heavily armed and more maneuverable than it's predecessor the Raptor Mk 90H see taking off in the background. Modeling done in C5, Marelle created in P6 and imported using Transposer. Scene created in C5, all textures done in PSP9. This one was a bear on my old machine. It actually was so intensive I had to turn off Indirect Lighting to stop my machine from overheating and crashing (cold booting). As always let me know what you think.

Wow, very nice. I love the ship and the girl came out good as well. My only comment is that you might want to change the color of the tarmack to a light shade of grey so the Raptor II shows up better. Very nice work. Keep it coming!!

The scene takes place early in the morning just barely at sunup. I know what you mean though. Sometimes I have to sacrifice a bit of detail for a bit more realism.

Ill do another render from a different POV and see if I can lighten the tarmac.

Her homeworld system resides inside a gas nebula, so it's pretty trippy. Im going to use a different backdrop for the next one, I have Mojoworld chewing on it now.

If you have Photoshop CS the Shadow/Highlight filter works wonders.

I have CS but normally use PSP which also has it. Im not all that happy with the poser import. She looks fatter than I intended and a bit too short. Something weird about the conforming clothing. Next time I am going to try using Dynamic Clothing.

I like all the values in blue that range from cool to almost warm. The use of complements is almost beaten to the punch by this treatment. Having the figure just waiting to be discovered in all this overload is a disipline.

Thanks, most of it is done in Carrara 5, but Im startign to some stuff in Poser6 natively if it involves any character modeling.
