Description
This is another shot of our California King Snake. He's about 2 years old, three and a half feet long. In this shot, my husband had just fed him a small rat-and yes they squeal when they are struck-so he;s FULL!!!
So full, that 30 seconds after I got this pic., he got stuck crawling into his den you see. My husband had to go into the tank and lift it apart to help him in!

beautiful snake. we had many King snakes in Oklahoma, but just as many bad snakes. I knew a guy with one as a pet and he would ride on his bicycle with the huge King under his shirt
