Description
This started off as a exercise in low-poly box modelling and just kept going up in subidivision levels and adding details with edge-loop extrusions.
At the highest detail level I added the celtic knotwork designs in Projection Master in ZBrush. I used the deco brush to do the row of designs on the sides of the boots.
To do the reflections I mirrored all of my models and placed them below the originals. I rendered and baked those layers and then I used the clone brush with layers mode on to color the floor with the colors from the other layer.

I have no idea about how difficult it is to achieve such a result in ZBrush, but the level of detail in this image is amazing!
