Description

"Mind the Gap, perhaps the most famous phrase associated with the London Underground, must surely have the creators of the system spinning in their graves. It's an acknowledgement that the thing doesn't quite work. That however fast and frequent the service, however comprehensive the network, the trains don't always fit the platforms. There's not much in it - but enough to warrant painted signs and recorded warnings..... - Michael Palin

I love the fact that people are reading. I do not like the fact that people will never look you in the eye on the tube. Very expressive photo.

I think it shows more a preponsity for people to come to harm doing the simplest of tasks than any fault of the tube. Good grief they have had to do away with the traditional buses because 21stC people cannot ride them without falling out of the open backs, they've had to put barriers across between the carriages on the tube so people don't mistake it for the entrance and fall on the line Bank is the only station I know that does have a wide gap anyways. oh rant over yours - sick to death of the nanny state - Onslow. Lovely Photo by the way - like the sense of movement :)

Superb. Would grace a travel magazine page, and the B&W really helps.

Love this blur. Love this style. I have tried it, but manage to mess up getting the blur right. Then get hassled by security at the depots.
