Description

More still life again. This is the development of an idea I had for a still life which I could use if I found any unwanted studio time. Unfortunately the studio has been fully booked since I developed the idea this far, so you guys get it in colour instead of black and white. Created in my home studio with my stunning angle poise lamp and 100w bulb.Comments as ever appreciated. Critique is more appreciated for its constructive content. Canon EOS300D with 28-90 lens and 80B filter F29 @ 8sec ISO 400 Blessed Be.

Original still life, not sure about the compo but can't define it in words. Love the concept, it's typical a collection of travel items, and the capture is technically perfect!

Nice composition, sharp detail. I really like this type of photograph. I would suggest a reflector to bounce more light onto the camera for detail

Very sharp - I would like to see it in sepia rather than B&W - and if you could get one of the silk maps from WWI or was it II, that would be fab also.
