Description

Even dragons like to look at themselves, you think? Another experiment in Bryce terrain making and mixing Poser models with objects from Bryce. At least this time, the dragon's feet are actually touching the ground. :) Any suggestions for improvement would be appreciated. Such as how best to make the water seem to lap on the rocks and plants. Thanks for looking. Dragon 2.0 at Daz3d.

I think it looks fantastic! And you are out in the light!!! I have yet to try all this in Poser, but soon....soon.....Maybe try another terrain, and use the slope to create the washupontheshore? Don't know how to do it in Poser, yet. But in bryce, I would try that. Looks awesome! Great pose!!

Great atmosphere. The pose of the daron is good and the water looks wonderful. The terrain on the background mountains is very good. To do a water that isn't flat you have to make a terrain and 'paint' it the way you want the water to look like. Using a water texture with some surf on it helps too. There is a water material for Bryce with surf and it was free, but I don't remember where I found it.

Dragons are exceedingly vain, lol. They would admire themselves all day long if not distracted by food running past, lol. Excellent work.

Hey! If i can survive looking at myself sure can a dragon!! :D And no worries about breaking mirrors - with this one it might get quite unlikely... :) It's a very cool fantasy scene, and the old lizard is looking quite good in there (so let him satisfy his vanity!) - i agree with the above ones about the water - use terrains and add the slopes! :) There was a (quite good) "water in bryce" tutorial here on 'rosity some time ago, but i don't know if it's still available... i think it was called "the summoning" or something similar...
