Description
The Lady of the Lake, a prophetess with magical powers, is first mentioned in Arthurian legend in the 'Conte de la charette' by Chretien de Troyes (1179). She appears as the guardian of the knight Lancelot and the forger of sword; she gives him a magic ring, as well as a white lance.
from 'Sacred Earth, Sacret Stones' by Brian Molyneaux.
It's been so long since I posted in the Vue gallery, I'm ashamed. :) This image is a variation on a photograph by Paul Wakefield of Lough Conn in County Mayo, western Ireland and printed in the book and accompanied by the text mentioned above.
Rendered in Vue Infinite, postwork in Photoshop.
Hope you like, and thanks for comments!
Take care,
Sabra

Love the composition and the strange atmosphere given by the sky and contrast between dark shadows and light. Feel a mystical part of nature here. Great work!
