Incidentally, if anyone is wondering, this was shot at night - the colour of the sky is the original colour - it's had only a tiny amount of postwork in one corner, rest is as it was.

What is the red from? Well done shot, the angle and colours really do enhance and re-interpret the statue.

Hi Dragonfly, the red is most likely from the lights in the office windows of the City Chambers. We were in the courtyard just across the road from the Courts of Justice and St Giles Cathedral. The dark brick coloured sky is just the city lights in an enclosed space.

...but there is a rising barricade in there (security) and there is a small set of traffic lights in the courtyard!
