Description

This is another shot from Paradise in Mt Rainier NP. I shoot this place every year. I am usually looking to put the mountain in the background but that was pretty hard to do on that day. But after that day I decided that it's OK to shoot meadows in the clouds. I always come away from this shoot feeling very satisfied with the experience. The place really does have the best name that it could have. When I see my pictures though I am disappointed, because I missed it. I didn't capture the feeling. Thank goodness that the mountain isn't going anyplace (at least I hope it isn't. It is a volcano ;)), so I'll get to try it again next summer :) Thanks for looking. I am always open to suggestions. Keith

I cannot believe that there are so many flowers! Are they all wild ones? Or have they been planted?

Another beautiful cloudy/misty photo. The wildflowers are gorgeous. Beautiful evergreens in the background almost swallowed up by the mist. Nature at her best.

Gorgeous, Keith! Makes me homesick! I think the fog is the background makes the picture all the more stunning! Wish we were there!

This really does look like Eden come back to us, Keith. Wow - the FLOWERS! That's one thing that really sux about Florida and I missed about Spokane - nothing but green, green, tan/brown and more green. VERY few wildflowers at all grow in the woods here. Just palmettos and weeds. They only seem to grow at "Mouse World", along with trees shaped like Dumbo - lol. Here's hoping the lava flows and ash hold back for a LOT of years so's you can keep shooting this wonderful spot!

I love the ghostly sentinels standing in the fog, guarding Paradise and the riches spread out at their feet. :)

I like the fog-shrouded pines and vertical perspective. Beautiful nature and an excellent shot.

Awesome. I always thought it was your "perception" of the locale, as I didn't know that was it's real name. Beautiful meadow so full of different flowers. I'd like to see that someday. ;)
