A piece of earth
A machine with movement
A human by birth
Like a mangrove that roams
Through time and through space
Drifting in and out
Of the human race
I, a bundle of mental reactions
Composed of memories
Past dreams and present
Real and fantasies
I act with instinct
I defend out of fear
I change out of loneliness
Through words I appear
I, a creation
Solo I stand
A piece of earth
Detached from the land
