Description

I think my favorite part of the Cinderella story was when the mice finally finished sewing her dress and then they pushed and pulled and fairly flew around the room to fashion that beautiful bow at the back. I've wanted a dress like that ever since... but folks would probably look sideways at me if I wore it when cruising the aisles of our local grocery store... since that's pretty much the only place I go... ;)

UF with border and sig in PSP.

Many thanks to all of you for your encouraging and kind words on my previous stuff... and thank you for peeking in at this one. Hugs! Helen :)

Very pretty image-better to be looked at sideways than not looked at, at all. Live it up!

That was a great scene. This too is a very magical image, full of life and light emerging from the darkness like Cinderella. Wonderful details as you chart the flight paths, sparkling and dancing in anticipation of the grand ball.

I bet you would look just as smashing as this image. Noticed the torn (old Cinderella-clothes?) background. Wondering how you did that... Anyway: absolutely gorgeous!

Helen, How beautiful! That is also one of my favorite parts of the movie. For several years, I had the little stuffed characters from the movie and had them literally velcroed to my monitor. I sent them to my mom last year as she developed a penchant for collecting mice! This is such a delicate and feminine fractal! Your art is so distinctive! Leann

This image has everything, Helen! I like the grey/black things in the background that look like they are torn. Excellent touch! And, of course, I love the golden highlights! One of the trademarks of your images is the incredible highlights. This is stunning, Helen!

Mighty fine UF Helen, I think the slipper fits my foot actually! ;)

Complex and enchanting!! Colour and shape reminiscent of the whisping away to the colourful ball and the thrill of the gown and slippers of glass. Did the toes curl up like the Arabian style? Midnight tearing away from the dream ends to the return to servant fabric-brown. Wow but you are skilled with your tools!!!

A dress like that beats the flip flops and stretch pants at my local gorcery store any day! If I see you there I just might ask you to dance ;) Another beautiful work of art Helen.

Wonderful again!..if Cinderella had worn a dress like this, the clock would have stopped before midnight, and her ecstasies would have been simply permanent....
