BIOHi, I'm Kenny.
I was born in 1981 in Belgium.
I started CG with the launch of Corel 7. I knew the program from earlier versions I had first seen at a friend's place. His mother was in advertising.
After several years of photo editing, logo design
and digital painting, I took the challenge of 3D modeling in late 2000.
There were different programs I tried out before using Lightwave, but once I tried it I couldn't let go ;)
My ambition is to work in gamedesign or the animation film industry. At the moment I'm working on my animation skills to achieve the latter one day.
I'm currently part of a development team, making an online rpg.

and recently I started a design consultancy with two other designers, one is a html wiz, the other a flash-photoshop guru

I remember your plane-wreck tile from a bit back, and this is just as every bit impressive. I wonder if you could do an anim on this tile, with the dark blue tones of deep water, soft shadows with the scattered lighting, plankton and complete with search lights etc. The texturing on this is fab!

thanks bud, good to see you again btw :) couldn't agree with you more, an animated waterplane is what this scene needs. The reason it isn't there is that at the time it was made the game engine didn't support large animated tiles yet. Considering there wasn't any water, a green plankton line would have been weird, allthough it would have looked better. I will however use these models in more detailed scenes/anims when I get around to play with them a bit more. for now I 'm just upping renders I made last year that didn't get into the gallery for one reason or the other ;) feels good to be back hehe

Very very very cool... wonder what you mean by "ended"... does it mean a successful completion of the project? I hope so. :o)

sorry to say but we didn't make it. we went on hold more than we made progress at one point and never picked up where we left. we may one day, but don't know when that is gonna be. so as far as I know this project is over. Great experience and lots of aditions to my portfolio came out of it though, so wasn't a total loss... on the contrary even.
