Description

This is the first gallery image of 2006. Several have come to mind but alas, it wound up being one of the family members. I will post a color image of the same shot before long. This is a rescued young male cat. When he arrived, someone had cut his whiskers and "trimmed" his front claws to raw bleeding and painful condition. Today, a good year later, all is fine and the paws are fine. He has proven to be an entertaining and fine member of the 4 cat family here.

Kudos to you for taking care of the poor fellow. He looks like he is tolerating your photography. The best we can hope for from cats is to be tolerated by them! :)

Bennie is a doll--what a fine photo of him, with each polished hair gleaming! (Reminds me a little of an old-time glamor photo of a movie star, like Humphrey Bogart;-) He just needs a ciggy;-))

How cruel people can be! Thank you for taking care of Bennie. He looks absolutely nice. I doubt whether he'll ever get over his experience, though. My girlfriend has a dog that saw his sister run over in the street. Four years later, he's slightly over it, accepting his new girlfriend. But he'll always remember. This cat will always remember, but he will love you anyway.
