G'day. This is a wild but very tame Kookaburra from Warrandyte, north east of Melbourne. He hangs around the picnic ground and obviously is well fed on other peoples left overs!! He is so tame you can get to within 1m or so. Great for photography of course !!! Enjoy Lou

Cute,...........how`s it going matey :-) I love this birds they are so kewl somehow, almost ran into one with the car (northeast of Melbourne), cos they arent scared at all ... (nor are the magpies, but they are not exactly rare LOL). Nice shot !!!! (made one by myself, but unfortunately it didnt turn out as great as yours)
