Description

I decided to take Bo & Cooper (my dogs) out for a nice long walk yesterday. So I grabbed my trusty little camera and headed out the door. As my eyes took in the world, I happened upon this. Now for some strange reason an "Apple Martini" popped into my head. Then I thought about how much this little apple symbolizes so much of what happens in life. No matter what comes our way, we have to just hang in there. Even if it appears all hope is lost. ~ Stacy ~ Thank you for your comments & suggestions.

This is very cool! I love the warm color of the apple against the cool background, and the ice crystals on the surface of it. Certainly this apple has seen better days, but as you say, hanging in there is the thing to do.

This is one of your coolest shots! I really love how the ice is all piled up on this poor shriveled up apple. I can almost see a profile on the apples surface. Just think, in the spring time... its seeds will all be ready to start another life. V
