Description

Two years ago while walking through Central Park, New York, I saw a lot of signs posted BEWARE, DON'T FEED THE SQIRKATS. I figured this is New York and it must be some kind of joke. Well, let me tell you, while walking around the lake I keep hearing rustling in the bushes and an occational low growl. I stopped for a moment to take a picture of the lake when just as I was pushing the button to take the picture, this thing jumped out of the bushes and landed on the log in front of me. I must have moved the camera down enough to get the picture you see above. I just took off like a bat out of hell. When I got home, I couldn't believe the shot I got...Can you? ENJOY TODAY

Wow!! I think this is the best capture yet!! Of course I believe it...I LIVE in NY and I have caught the rare glimpse of these creatures right in my backyard! Most of them are quite friendly but they can become really a nuisance around the birdfeeder...hehehehe Excellent!!! :-) V
