Very Sweet Idea,But Don't Be afraid of covering the Character with the Dragon. Also try emotional content and forshorting. get the viewrer envolved in the scene.

Thanks for the feedback kcalb, although if you look at the picture, you will see the dragon wrapping it's tail around the character as a sign of ownership. Emotional content is down to individual perception and therefore every viewer can read their own emotion into a picture. I tend to like to leave a picture open to an individuals own interpretation as opposed to trying to influence how they view things. Forshorting is a technique that I use when I wish to, but in this instance the viewer is looking slightly upwards to view the entire vista and it is therefore not required.
