Description

This Mantis was a bout 20cm in size. I caught him landing on a wall during the night and had to take many macro shots with the flash. It was rather hard obtaining good focus though I caught him doing some wounderful things. It took the mantis a while to get used to my presence, once comfortable, there was a good show put on. \ some poses where awesome but unfortunatley they did not turn out, at one point the Mantis was staring directly at the camera LOL. Enjoy :)

Yuk! I don't know about bugs. I let flies fly, and occasionally dump spiders down the pavement outside. Your pictures have shown me a totally new way of looking at life. Excellent job!
