I liked the new War of the worlds. But even though those Walkers in the new movie were awesome, they simply do not match in any way the Machines of the 50's movie version. I am glad to see someone making these images with the "Walker beams" in it. Very few people realize, those machines in that movie were not flying, they were "walking" on beams of magnetic force.
