This is a wonderful portrait of a very beautiful lady but I'm afraid it is not very good. Please contradict me, but I think that you are confusing vagueness with poor quality. I am sure that Ms Yoong-Jan deserves better than this picture. "Melancholy" just doesn't seem to buy it.

contradiction ? Well I think that your confusing "good quality" with sharpness, as many photographers. This pict was hard to catch, big restaurant, lots of peoples, maximum zoom, poor light,Yoong-Jan was far (about 20 m from me )... but I ain't a Critic, I'm an image-maker.

I rest my case. I have seen your latest upload of Ms Yoong-Jan and will no longer comment. Hopefully I did not offend you. I thought you intended some blurred effect with your previous portrait and wanted to warn you in my opinion it had failed. Now you have explained. Ms Yoong-Jan is so beautiful she is worth taking pictures of from miles away.

In my opinion, I think this is a great image. I love the artistry of the whole thing. Everything doesn't always have to be clear & sharp in order to be great. Good examples of this concept can easily be found in all the realms of the artistic world. I Love it just the way it is!!!
