Description

This is my first Carrara project. Carrara is a 3D modeller and renderer that perhaps hopes to compete with Vue, Bryce, and maybe even Poser. It has however, some notable limits in its lighting (many effects of which, are done post render making them on par with those in Photoshop), but I did manage to put this together. That said, I was thankful for the modeller on this one, as I had to a bit of reshaping of the witch after importing her. Some of that from a bug that dropped out my Poser magnets, and some of it from realizing the pose needed a little more work -after- she was was aleady in scene. And one of the things you can do in Carrara is repose a figure. Divana outfit from Styxx

Fantastic job for your first C5 render. Looking forward to more! Some of the lighting effects, like the energy sheres (for lack of a better description) could be done in C5 by mapping an image onto a plane (one for each sphere). But it's probably easier to do as post in photoshop.
