This little cemetary is located just west of Dawson's Crossing, North Carolina.

Excellent capture! I sit here looking at that old stone, overtaken and thus preserved in a way by that tree, and I can't help but think of Mr. Powell's life. What a span! An infant of and during the war of Independance, watching our nation grow through its (and his) adolescence who died just before the Civil war. What a life! Great Shot!!
