Description

It's named Planet 26 so you can use your imagination for why that is the name. Maybe it is the 26th planet from the star in this particular system, or the 26th planet discovered with life on it, or the 26th discovered human habitable planet, but really that was the name of the worldfile, hehe. I started working on this one in early 2004 when there was a planet themed challenge :) I didn't like what I had and it changed a lot. I recently went back to it and thanks to my improved skills figured I'd able to get something I liked better. The main render, geez, that took days. I can't remember how many, but a lot. Then there was a big Terragen fault, a black block over like 20% of the sky that didn't show up in any preliminary renders of smaller size. I did an unscaled render of the sky only and thankfully that blended perfectly. Michael

Beautiful and surrealistic view. The clouds are strange, but look well. Their mirrored reflection is even more strange ! Funny effect.
