It's a shame the rest of your group doesn't have your desire, dedication and love for music, one would hope those qualities would have rubbed off on them because you obviously have all three. I completely understand what you are going through as all the bands I was in fell apart exactly due to the flake factor. I finally went off on my own and started Goth Frogz, and with two world tours and 4 platinum albums later, I sure showed them! LOL! Don't let it get you in a funk and perhaps you can find some cats closer to where you live! Less driving, more thriving! Oh, how disappointing for you, Hon! I know how you feel, I've "been there, done that" with other types of projects and groups of people. It's hard to feel so let down. :( But you are obviously more dedicated than they are, and probably more talented, too! I hope you can salvage some sort of happiness for your birthday! That is a great shame Bill. I'm sorry you feel so let down and quite rightly, you are upset. It's a shame you don't live over here, because I would guarantee you one or more gigs a week and there is also a jam night at two different venues, which is always well participated. The work shows your mood magnificently. Cheer up Sir. I think your next venture will be more successful. To start with, why not go to gigs and get to know musicians, who will most certainly "ask you up" on stage and just start from there. Then at least you know they're committed. Good luck Sir.
