Description

That is what the kids did today, their last day home before the new school year, but for them it wasn't water falls and flutterbyes For Mikayla it was shopping and Pizza and for Daniel it was basketball and Pizza lol. Big day for my baby girl tomorrow - new school new routine new kids and new teachers - her first major change since starting school at 5. For Daniel it is his last year at the same school- exams and a school ball (prom?) All his mates can get their learners permits this year (to drive) he has to wait till next year. It is the first time he has actually felt younger than the rest of his class lol For me tomorrow means going to bed before sunrise, for a change, and gettin up not long after sunrise :o| ah but it will be worth it for the peace and quiet lol keep smiling Chris :o) ps For Dawn - I remember you asked about the school year it starts just after Australia day (26th January) and ends a few days before Christmas ;o)

the school year is divided into 4 terms (semesters) with a 2 week break at the end of the first 3 and over a month at the end (summer break) who ever invented schools deserves a medal who ever invented school holidays needs stringing up :o)

Horay - horay - their back to school today!! & that was my first time being on "the receiving end" of a school holiday. I can imagine what it will be like when my kids are your kids age - if they make it that far!! LOL. Great Pic matt :-D
