Description

La Thuile, December 2003 Nikon Coolpix 4500 and Adobe Photoshop CS2 That night things were rather strange. We were staying at this big hotel that was under maintenance. Huge parts of the complex were closed, but casually I found an open door, and so I roamed for hours through desert halls, empty bedrooms and dark kitchens. Geez, that was fun.

Actually I was quite scared too, but for a couple of practical things. First, I was worried of what would happen if they caught me. Second, especially in the kitchens and in the underground facilities, there were fire-safety-doors everywhere, and I was pretty scared about the possibility of remaining stuck somewhere because sometimes I could not open them from one of their sides. Apart from that, there was a particularly "interesting" room where (don't ask me why) the fire alarm was on (not the fireshowers, just the sound alarm and a blinking alert on the walls). That was quite scary. Really surreal.
