Description

Wizards Chambers ver 2 Well I removed the pedastal and crystal ball for now, and have built some additional items for the room. The chandalier now has candles complete with flames and lights all made in amorphium. It is also lined with the wizards glyphs which were models I made from Apophysis. That is also the technique I used on the door hinges as well as the Ward above the door. The Jar on the stand to the right is from DAZ Brides gold collection. I changed the gold to glass and built an alien type head in Poser to pickle in it. I used metaballs to build the potions found around the room and the wand display case I threw together in Bryce. The trophy on the side wall is a Mil Dragon head mounted on a board I built in Bryce. The staff leaning against the column was drawn in the lattice editor. I may do something else for a break, but I'm not finished with this one yet... Bryce, Daz Studio, Photoshop

Yup, this chamber is ROCKIN', now when is the Wiz gonna come a knockin' ? just a suggestion...the hinges are beautiful, but they seem a bit too fine and filigree, to match the heavy chunky door or to take it's weight ? Kool stuff & ~Cheers~ :o)

WOW! GREAT detail!! Is that a wand collection up there? The hinges are way fine, and the trophy, and that head in the bottle, whoa! Say, isn't that from Diablo? Superb my friend!

Awesome.. the details and texture are pretty cool.. the only thing I could think of is making it darker some and change the lighting a bit.. but awesome..

From dragon's head to books unread, this post holds most of what is dead. Hmmmm... I knew there was something about the plant the first time that just wasn't right to me. ITS ALIVE. Love the changes.

I think the scene setup and models are interesting, but the lighting itself needs some work. There is no visible light source. If the scene were lit from just the chandelier, it would be much more vivid and impactive. I'd suggest turning off all the lights except the candle-lights, then tweaking their falloff to "Squared" and cranking the values up. The scene will be much more dynamic then! But it certainly looks like you put a lot of work into it so far, keep at it!

Very nice image, some very nice work. Keep it up. But I agree with InfernalDarkness about the lighting. You need to either define some sources or give it dramatic lighting. USe only the sources you know are present and it will give the room a presence of its own, make it solid, even if everything you want to show does not.
