Description

I have been wondering why the birds have stopped coming to my feeders in my backyard. When I looked out my kitchen window this morning, I saw the reason sitting on top of my pine tree. This image was taken in high wind (as you can tell by his feathers) and I also took it through my sliding glass doors. I didn't think I would get a half decent shot. Comments are always welcome!

First of all you really have clean windows lol! No streaks even, so I didn't even know. I absolutely love the wind in his feathers this is an amazing photo.

The silence in our garden has a reason too ;) A sparrow hawk knows that many little flying pies come to eat here. Great shot. WandM

WOW! What a great picture, you have captured your culprit with an excellent shot. The movement and clarity in his features and backgound show great work.

OMG!! I'm so jealous!! I have been trying to capture these hawks that are on the highway as I go home (I don't mean they are on the highway literally...I mean I see them as I drive down the highway) and am just waiting for them to be in a place that I can pull over safely and take their picture. OHHHHH!! This is beautiful! VOTE
