@twistednoodle: There was a bit of redish sand/soil on the forground. Water often gets collected on these points, so maybe a bit of iron present in the sand/soil. The red has also been enhanced in photoshop purely for asthetic purposes.

I could have sworn I left a coment on this. HMMM where did I leave it? LOL. Or did it just not take? is that possible? This has amazing impact, Beautiful color and composition in weight. The placement of the strong color at the bottom amazingly sustains the rock giving an even weight and Beautifully balances the image. Maybe I forgot to hit the submit. But I don't forget a beautiful image.
