it looks so simple, but oh my god do i love 3dmax it looks magnificent. how did you do your background, is it just a screen or did you use a cylindrical background?

The Background is a plane with a background image attached on it. First i used a cylindrical but the texture didn't fit for a sunset scene. And this texture isn't made for a cylindrical background. I could have used an environment map but there are some trees on the image to and you would have seen them in the sea :). (I did use an environment but only for the reflections so it had something to reflect.)
