Description
Taken with a cheep webcam from my Shakey Deck Observatory.
I wanted to see the rings brighten on 1/27/06 when saturn was in opposition. Comparison of the two I think is obvious.

Brilliant capture. I would be soooooo proud of this one. I seen Saturn for the first time through my telescope late last year, I was just knocked out. I'm sure I could make out a couple of moons too. I then seen Venus a month or so ago and that was good too, it was a thin cresent like the moon. Did you know that Venus can cast a shadow here on earth....strange but true. Sorry for the waffle your picture is tops.
