Me and earl was haulin' chickens
on a flatbed out of Wiggins,
And we'd sepent all night on the uphill side
of 37 miles of hell called Wolf Creek Pass
which is up on the Great Divide
Based on a DEM of Wolf Creek Pass, a few miles north-east of Pagosa Springs, Colorado (the real-life inspiration for the song by C W McCall.

Wolf Creek pass along the Great Divide. My stepdad was from Pueblo. I have several C.W. Mcall records. And the dog named Slone,I think.
