Description

Ever read the "Hoka" series by Gordon R Dickson and Poul Anderson? The Hokas were a race of very adaptable ursinoids who, when presented with a book or movie, could rapidly rebuild their entire society to recreate whatever milieau caught their attention. The authors used these guys for a series of genre parodies, from Westerns to Sherlock Holmes. I used them as an excuse to make my own parodies, such as a set of "Star Bears" images. In case you're wondering, the Hokas shared their world with a reptilian race who'd been cast as "the Injuns" when the Hokas were in their Wild West mode. Obviously some of them now are employed as Taun-Tauns.... Colored pencil on blue matte board, about 30" tall

This is excellent and brilliant style! No I haven't read that "Hoka" series but the way you incorporated that idea I can totally relate to and I'm on parallel lines with your humour! These mediums you used is impressive indeed! :D
