I understand why cats pull their nails, but I hate them doing that.. grrrrrr..the noise sometimes is very unpleasant.:-)))

Don't ya know it!!! I thought I was the only one who was bothered by that sound. That's usually when I check the cat's claws to see if they need trimmed. All three of them are really good about having it done too.

We all can;t stand that sound! But I've noticed, only cats that have been declawed do that to their front paws! I figure trying to make them grow again since we took them away! lol.

Cats have to keep their claws sharp and clean for both offensive and defensive purposes.
