thought id give this a whirl..i must have 1500 apophysis images stored..so while reading the new help files in 1.515(soon to be released as 1.6)i noticed that one can open a picture and make it a background...(probably been there all the while but im slow)..so i played with this all day...the limitation is that both images ,in order to come out well, must be the same size...
well i usually render xd at 3072x2304(three times a 1024x768)and then reduce size in PS to 1024...this helps with the jaggies on images and works well for me...so i had to re- render the apo image the same, add the xd image (rendered)then finially....could get a decent image to adjust size...
kinda wordy but for those of you that understand, might be helpfull...

yes I understand, have been playing with the same principle..easy to do if you rendered apo images with invisible backgrounds. This one is really neat , seem to fit well together in form and color..

This is really neat, Bob. That's a cool flame behind the XD shape and the forms/colors work really well together. Aww, heck with the huffy stuff - freaken COOL! lol
