Description
Yeah...I know original title...Couldn't come up with anything....
So...this is about 20 hours worth of work...spread out over about 3 days. My second only 2D digital painting. It's not perfect, and not very 'crisp' (I seem to have a painterly style in my 2D work) but...I'm kinda sick of working on it and yes...I know...Where's House's 5 o'clock shadow? I dont know...maybe he shaved that day :) haha...actually I just didn't want to bother with it :) I do like how the eyes came out...I probably spent about 2 hours or more for each eye...
Anyways, after I painted this, I postworked it some more...I always do that... :)
I used Painter IX and a Wacom tablet and of course the photo for reference...

It's obviously him, but his 'laugh lines' (either side of his mouth) should be more prominent. And the character is always covered with stubble. The eyes however are perfect, as is the overall expression.
