Description

Space Port was created by first laying out the buildings as Terrain features in PSP and saved as a 1026x1026 PCX file. This was imported as Terrain into VistaPro where I then rendered the primarily ground and structures and I used a space background I had created earlier to add to the outer space feel. The image was then exported back to Paint Shop Pro for post work in adding the ships, windows, lights, etc.. I welcome any and all comments - good or bad on this image.

Very futuristic looking and lotta work there. Have you considered using 2d tree objects for your buildings and spaceships? That way there would be less need for so much postwork.

Thanks folks - as to the using 2d tree objects, this is one technique I have never tried and will have to give it a shot. Although the overall image from start to finish took me only 2 to 3 hours.

Another fine addition to the gallery! Irene's made a good point re the use of 2d tree objects though.
