Description

* As the Earth literally disappears beneath My Feet and the Value of it decreases with every Earthquake, I must ponder now the Project of moving the Fence to protect the Cattle and submit to Mother Nature who has reclaimed yet more of Her Land * ~~~ A View from the Northern Boundary of the Estate where I am Resident Caretaker, showing the Otaki Gorge, which leads to the Tararua Mountains, here in New Zealand. Ferocious Acts of Nature caused this Ravine and when the Big Wet comes the Otaki River sifts the Soil and strews Boulders as if they were Marbles of insignificant size. ~~~

Is it any wonder that film makers seek out the landscape of New Zealand for their projects!?

Oh wow, literally the end of the world, that is, if the elevation difference does not count! Fantastic work! :)

The beauty of semi-arid lands seems to rise up in the warm dryness. How to keep what is just gravel and clay together is a minor intrusion. So much to take in.
