Description

Go West young man ... go west... Those words were said to those who explored the west of this vast continent... now imagine being able to explore new continents on new worlds.. Awesome thought isn't it... ~~~~ My second space render, I hope the critics will be gentle. I will say after doing this with the various layers (12) I do appreciate greatly and am in awe of the many artists here in TG who create such magnificent ones. It was fun and most definitely a learning experience. Terrain, surfacing, atmosphere are mine. The top half was added using Glitterato, Lunar Cell and clouds via Xenofex. It's a half and half for those who want to know:) Half this, half that and all from my strange mind. Postwork besides the top half, slight levels adjustment frame and sig. Some cloning to remove some strange crags... :) Many thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments, support and encouragement on past works.. Truely means much. As always, Pat

Creepy colours! Excellent use of plug-ins you have really made the most of the programs! I think you've done an excellent job for your second picture. Its not as easy as it looks. Markal does some awesome stuff!

"Go West!?""Why?""I want to stay here a gander at this awhile!"8-D . This is truely amazing, Pat. The surfaces are most wonderful. I notice those things now, after mine have been so slow to progress and really, Really Like your's here. Only one problem though,...........................It needs to hanging on my wall at about a 36 inch by 48 inch poster, ;-) "You Go Girl!"

Nice idea and colours; excellent mood - the planet placement is good, but a couple of probs: firstly and most critically I can see the smaller planet behind the larger; secondly because the atmo is so heavy, use the 'screen' blend mode rather than the 'normal' mode - place both planets on the same layer to avoid the 'transparent planet' problem - this could be a really excellent piece if you rework it a little :)
