Description

Well, I couldn't stay away for very long (in fact, this was created in the very early hours of Saturday morning... insomnia!). It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I think it turned out like an Ikea print... if that's your impression too, then I'm sorry. Thanks for all your very kind comments of late.

Pretty outstanding indeed - I've always looked up to your stuff, and the fact that you posted at the same time as me doesn't bode well for my picture. Oh well. The only thing I can offer in terms of constructuve criticism is that the waves in the foreground indicate a different perspective to the background water. I don't know, maybe it's just me. The actual island is stunning, as are the foreground rocks! Is it an overlay of a photograph, or some very cool technique I don't know about yet?

Yep this is lovely - slight line with photo addition but only because we know its been added. If this was a photograph you wouldn't even notice! Love the muted colours - excellent work. (Wish you hadn't mentioned Ikea!! LOL)

Well, I love the hazy lighting and shadowy foreground. It is quite believable.
