Oh, that's terrible about winter deciding to show up. Here it's yukky, been snowy, icy and rainy. I hate winter. :( Now to your slinky! I love slinky. I think I like the metal ones better than the new plastic ones because the plastic breaks so easy. LOL Fantastic scene and sent me back in time. Awesome! V HUGS Maria

Yep, looks just like my slinky (I'm sure I've still got it somewhere!) Pardon my ignorance, what's an energizer bunny? Energy from nothing? Now, that would be excellent - might even get you a Nobel prize - lol! :)

"What walks down stairs, alone or in pairs and makes a slinkity sound? A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing, Everyone knows it's Slinky!" hehehe I love your Slinkys Richard. I did a bit of research and found a few things! :-) Sun, Aug. 14, 2005, the slinky celebrated it's 60th birthday! How many toys get their own stamp, after all? The U.S. Postal Service commemorated Slinky in February 1999. The first generation of Slinkys were constructed from carbon steel, which would often rust (not the best quality in a flexible toy). The steel used now is galvanized. Upscale Slinkys are forged from brass ($20), covered in 14k gold plate ($100) and molded from sterling silver ($400). The basic plastic model? $2.99.
