Description

This is the finished splash page for the graphic novel I am working on. The page was rendered in Poser 6 using ART MATERIALS Vol.1 : Cartoon Shaders. I then imported the image in layers into Magna Studio to add the boxes, text, focus effects, etc.

Thanks for adding my image to your Favs. I like this one a lot; the comic style is perfect, and I like the design very much. I oughta try something like this...

I'm VERY impressed, both by the composition and structure. Her placement and the POV are very strong in drawing our eyes into this very real scene you've created. And, of course, I love the way you convey the whole "Sin City"/Frank Miller vibe here -- he's obviously an inspiration to you and this does him justice without being "just" a copy. If I were going to suggest one thing, it might be to ask a question: have you played with any tones on the wooden pallet in the foreground? I'm wondering if toning it down might make our eyes snap onto her shapely form even faster? On the other and, without it, the title text might overpower the bottom of the image and throw off the sense of balance you've created here. Still, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it. BRAVO and thanks for posting!
