On the top of Claife Heights, Lake District, England. It's cold but beautiful up here.

I take it that you took this one during the English summer, Rozanne? Just kidding ;o). I like frozen grass, and the crunching and breaking swish sounds as you walk through it.We have had some frost recently but not severe. Lots of fog though in the Central Belt, alternating with very clear but cold weather. My priest was wanting some deep snow, last week, so that he could get a shot of the church for the 2006 parish Christmas card. I offered to put some digital snow on any of HIS shots, ( mine are rubbish ) but he said that there was nothing like the real thing. I find that my digital camera just 'freezes up', and suffers severe battery drain in cold conditions. I hope it is warmer than this in Catalunya Regards, John.

Great capture of hoar frost. The camera angle works exceptionally well here with the spreading barren tree limbs in the middle distance - good composition. -- Dick
