It may come as a surprise to some viewers; that Israel has it's own, "Remember the Alamo." In ancient Palestine, a fortified town, Massada, halted the mighty Roman army. After a few years, all the inhabitants commited suicide rather than surrender into slavery. Just one of many historical footnotes on the information highway. "Massada, Never Again."
So, I tried for a design symbolizing these various elements.

It never ends for the Israelies, and they do show the rest of us what hardships can be laid on to a society :-( This looks like it could be a new logo for their newest fighters...

Good job Sazzart and a great history lesson. I know the story but never hurts to be reminded of others suffering and steadfastness. Backdrop mat is unreal!

Excellent image, and history review. As for the Palestinians, they have shown they are not capable of governing a civilized nation.

Wow SAZ !! This is amazing!! What a powerful image! So much history is unknown to the children of this nation (and the adults too)! I remember when I was in Germany and I went to Dachau and the camps. That was the most horrid and sombering experience. So many here take their lives for granted and have no idea of the suffering across the world (save what they see on TV)it just blows my mind sometimes. So many prejudices and such hatred in the world. I wish we could combat it all with love and understanding. Why is there such intolerance and so many power struggles. It's so sad. This is a beautiful image and great render!! It is going into my favorites!! VOTE

I did not know about Massada but most Americans don't know what's happening outside their own borders anyway. I'm just another clone going about my selfish life. If I died tomorrow I would have not made an impact on the world in any way. Kind of sad but maybe one single soul is not enough for that. Maybe it takes army...an army of love, not war. Ditto what MadAlyice said.

How could a person with the AKA, "Friend of Yahweh", not know of that sad event. Thanks for the passionate reminder, friend. Never heard it compared to the Alamo before; very interesting POV and tribute to the Hebrew nation. May God bless, the nation Of Isreal. selah.
