Description

Today is my sweethearts B-day! She wanted to go roller skating. Here is a little animation I made from a sequence of shots, with my Nikon D50. I had no tripod, so forgive the "Jiggle". A lady near the front had glowing neon wheels!! Peace! ; )

TOTALLY WONDERFUL i love this!! i grew up skating in my teen years i lived on skates! on my 14th bday My Dad took me to get a pair of suede 250 dollers skates ( back in 1980 that was allof money ) with bones crimson wheels and perfect barrings! . they glided along like a dream and i spent at least 4 hours a day on them from 14 to 18 ! i used to speed skate and backwards skate in compititons.. i miss those day and i miss my skates!!. I dont know what happened to them in my last move sigh ... this brings back many happy memory's thank you for this one!!

It's got wheels and stands on its own as a fascinating and riveting abstract....Gonna needa an ocean (and a gallery and genre) for Motion Art....(Merely by the way is this Canada or SAC HQ? Somewhere deep in the bowels of the World's deepest MALL, a battery of digital clocks tick tick eerily in infrared. The mood is sombre. No one wants to be the first to unleash Roller Derby on an unsuspecting universe....Dmitri? Of course it's a friendly call, Dmitri)

There's something almost surreal with all the red and the blurs, yet when I squint my eyes, I'm back in grade school at a friend's skating birthday party. Nice job.
