Description

I have learned to hate my senses, That shows a cold hard surround. To take out as the light lessens, As the winter rots the ground. Unable to sleep the whole night through, To lift the pen and start the process. Black hits white, scars on the moon, Ranting from a pessimist. When I lay it all aside, After reaching an absurd conclusion. No longer frightened like a child, After I unwind and loosen.

I love poetry on poetry! It's so interesting the different emotions that arise. Wonderfully penned. Insomnia brought about the pen or the pen brought about the insomnia? The flow is as smooth as silk. Thank you for sharing, I look forward to more! ~Michelle~

Yesssssss... This is how writing makes me feel. That insistant urge inside that can't be explained even to myself, until I write.... and then, and only then, can I let go of the emotion. Awesome.
