Description

Main Gate Singraven Twente(7) The roots of Singraven goes back to 1381, first time mentioned in the history, but the building it self has foundations from 1415!!! The manor house is now a days in use for special activities, but nobody is living anymore in the house!! In the house is a huge art collection and the interior of the house is still in its original set-up from 1891 -1966, left as it was by the last habitant of the house!! Unfortunately you can

Impressive building. Wish they had a open house there so we could peek inside. Grolsch beer huh???? If I see that beer, I will taste it! Excellent shot. Aloha

Normally I would think the gate is disturbing the image to much, but the fog in the back ground whichs softens the lines of the building does the trick in this case.. wonderful picture.

This is a wonderful capture with its own somewhat very sad and lonely mood, and lovely structures in the iron gate and the manor seen through this relief and very interesting history as well!
